There are no words for how much I love Otoya Ittoki. It all started last March when I'd downloaded Uta no Prince Sama Shining Live. My friend got me to download it. I'd never really played any rhythm games before, much less get into any idol anime (and well, look where my autistic self is now, but that's a tale for another time). I'd decided to give it a shot, however, because I'm gay. Initially, I had no idea who to choose—after all, there's 11 hot guys and 1 me. I probably chose Otoya Ittoki because he seemed the easiest to love; sports genki type, leader, friendly personality. I wouldn't regret investing time into him, so I went with him. Oh, how naive I was, believing I wouldn't fall in love. There are so many splendid things about him: his laugh, his hair, his youthfulness, his leadership, his personality—I could go on and on for hours (and I probably have before, if I'm being honest). Despite all of these things, my favorite thing about him has got to be his strength. His perserverance and absolute will to continue forward, despite what obstacles loom over him...I'm jealous of that will, to be completely honest. He doesn't always wear a smile on his face, and that's okay. He lets himself feel each emotion that comes to him, through and through, and...there's so much I could learn from him. Right when I think I know everything about Otoya Ittoki there is to know, he proves me wrong, and I'm so happy about that. He gives me the power to move on in my life. I'm in serious love with Otoya Ittoki. If you're reading this, Otoya...well, all of that mess I just wrote is only half of the story. You've come so far and there's no stopping you now. You're doing so well, and we're all so proud of you. Did you know I learned guitar for you? Actually, uhm...I named my acoustic after you. I hope that's not too embarrassing. I play every Sunday at the 8 am mass and I hate it so much, but then I remember that guitar is what connects us. You're basically the leader of STARISH, aren't you? You do such a good job of keeping everybody together, and I know they all appreciate you for that. You've made a family out of Shining Agency, and I'm so glad you did that, because how else would we see the funny yet familiar interactions between senpai and kouhai? There's so much more to talk about: your love for curry, music, and making people smile, but at the end of the day, I just love you for you. Otoya Ittoki, you let me see over the HORIZON of my fears—after the dull cacophony of life, you gave me a BRAND NEW MELODY. Your SMILE MAGIC worked on me. It's because of you that I Am Here! Otoya, there are so many more words I could say, so many more serenades to be held—but all that truly matters is that I truly do love you. Otoya Ittoki, I want to stand on stage with you and write the songs that you sing. I love you.
